BatteryStatus - A battery plugin for the Today-Screen

Here's a nice little freebie app:

Basically, it displays your Battery level plus (optional) Carrier info and CPU speed.

The latter (CPU speed) doesn't really work with our processor, so best to skip it (it'll just show 416mhz, regardless of actual speed).

Phone carrier info does work.

One of the best features though (under options) is to have the DeviceLock automatically engage everytime the device wakes up to prevent accidental turn ons/dial outs. You don't even need the standard DeviceLock today plugin enabled for it to work. I find that a very useful feature.

Anyways, give it a shot and post any feedback here since there may still be some issues. Also, here is the developer's website for more info.

Hmmm...interesting little app. I'll install it and see how it perform. By the way, have you installed on your device? If you did, did you encounter any problem? This message, "WARNING !!! Use this piece of software on your own risk !!! I am not responsible for any damage caused by this software !!! WARNING", is displaced all over the developer's website. I wouldn't think that this will cause any permanent damage to our device, huh?

UPDATE
Installed since this morning and didn't see any problem. The devicelock feature is pretty neat. Device is locked after I ended a phone conservation. This is no biggie, just hit the unlock botton to unlock it. It does exactly what is described. One more thing, when I was installing it; it didn't ask do I want to install on the device or the storage card. It just installed.

Send a message via Skype™ to Wideawake
I have seen this happen with a few other programs, I think phonealarm was one of them.

yeah, I've been running it, no problems either.

The warning is this: it has an Overclocking ability but for only OMAP processors, hence the warning. Doesn't affect our devices at all.
