Re: SPB Backup 2.0 released...
Since I purchased Sprite Backup, I guess I am posting this in defense of it over SPB Backup, but Sprint has had the ROM upgrade feature (although I have not personally used it) for a while. Snippet from their site:
Key Features • ROM Independent Restore - Recover your device irrespective of what version of ROM is installed http://www.spritesoftware.com/sprite-backup/

I've been using SPB Backup 2.0 now, and have used the ROM upgrade feature 5-6 times now. No such problems have occured. |

Re: SPB Backup 2.0 released...
You do have to admit it though...by the time they issue an upgrade they make you pay for, they do add a lot more, and (if you use it) make it worth the investment, like a new app!! Kinda like the MobileShell difference, 2.1 is a totally different animal than the original!!!
The only problem being that SPB apps are usually on the pricey side to begin with!!!! |

Is this a Touch or a WM6 problem? Will SPB be fixing this problem so that the running processes can be stopped before backups? |
