Re: (3 June 2008) S2U2 v1.02 - new page

Any word on memory consumption in this new version?

Although I appreciate all the new functionality, I've been hoping for a "slimed down" version to run on my already memory starved Mogul.

kudos to AC for a wonderful program.

Re: (3 June 2008) S2U2 v1.02 - new page

I think this one uses more ram. I see a slight delay when using it..

I like the sounds when it unlocks and lock, and also editing the text on the sliders .

Very nice..

Not sure about the memory usage.

Anyone else running into crashes when trying to adjust the settings? I've tried soft reset, uninstall, re-install, and it still crashes when I try to adjust the settings.

Stock "Leaked" 6.1 ROM

Yeah if i stay in settings to long it will have an error. I also can't seem to find the settings for font on the slide bar and sounds.

Re: (3 June 2008) S2U2 v1.02 - new page

I didn't hang out in the settings for too long so I did not get an error. I personally see, after a soft reset, that this version utilizes less memory, when configured exactly as the previous version (except awake on keyboard slide). I know that there is a 100ms delay that he added in for the loading of S2U2 on wake, which is now user definable.

But for me this one works better and with less memory usage. Once again a good and free application is made better.

Re: (3 June 2008) S2U2 v1.02 - new page

For the posters looking to change sounds or slider wording, if you haven't already found the answer, you need to go into a reg editor, and make the changes that way, like the ols S2U used to be. Thay are working on a config menu for these, so hopefully something will be available soon.

EDIT: ask and ye shall revieve:

l3v5y posted this over in XDA:

I've just created a little app for changing the text, and the wave files that are played.

A shortcut is created in the same folder as other S2U2 apps (iLock, S2U2, S2U2Settings)...
