Video Podcast Players

There seems to be very little in here about Video Podcast players. Does anyone have any recommendations? Has anyone used Pocket Podcasts? Hubdog? Pocket Player (not sure if that plays video podcasts)?

I'm looking for something that can stream a video podcast to my HTC Mogul. Any thoughts?

They play the video files, but they are not video podcast aggregators. I want to be able to stream video from RSS feeds.

Newsbreak will download attachments such as Audio and Video Podcasts and is my newsread of choice... The only problems I have with it is the lack of a resume feature if a podcast download is interupted, and no built in clean up/repair if the files get corrupted...

I used to use a program called FeederReader which could handle theses issues, but had other issues... (It seemed to stop being supported (so no fixes for bugs with WM6) and the GUI was dated...)

Both are paid solutions, but free trials are available... I know of no free newsreaders that support video podcasts...

Oh, I have TCPMP as the playback engine...

Re: Video Podcast Players

Thanks. With regards to Newsbreak, have you managed to make TCPMP the default video playback utility? When I click "play" on the podcast, it tries to use Windows Media Player. I don't see an option to change that in the program itself...

Here are just two options, both available via a Google search...

FREE: Pocket Podcasts. Available from freewarepocketpc. I have attached this one..

NOT FREE: Conduits Pocket Player 3, which costs $19.95, though there is a fully functional 30 day trial.

You have to go into TCPMP and go to Options > Settings > Select Page> File Associations and check all the file types you want to default to TCPMP... (Make sure you have all the needed plug-ins for TCPMP if a certain file type produces an error.)

I have never heard of Pocket Podcasts before... Ah, seems to be an abandoned open source project... It might be worth adopting by those skilled in C#
