When I did the hard reset, it worked just fine, but when I installed my backup file, it no longer worked. There's an extra .dll that wasn't there before the backup install, but because it's in rom I can't delete it. I have no idea what you even mean by "cooking" a rom (I know, not very geeky of me).

Just FYI it's a toshiba e800 wm2003, NOT a smartphone. Toshiba customer support is POS, and the only thing they're going to do anyways is try to sell me a refurbished one for $150 lmao.

So any clue how to fix it without starting over?
