caller id spoof application

I just got spoofed by an iphone user so I came here to look for an app. Guess no luck.

it is illegal in the us. goto skype.com, pay 15 bucks. use that. it shows up as 1234567. or use *67.
hiding ur id is one thing, spoofing is another. please tell me one good reason for faking ur number.

It is not illegal. The bill has not been made a Law! There are many ways in which to spoof a caller Id, along with many reasons to do so. The only illegal aspect would be the manner and reason one may use this feature.

I would like to use it so I can spoof my number to my companys 1800# for when I call my customers, they are suppose to use a phone system to submit service calls but when they get my phone number from caller id they call me directly. Makes a big hassle for me and slows down my day when they do that.

For you businesses that want your business number to appear (not so your trying to deceive anyone as those saying it's illegal are assuming the only reason to do this is to deceive), use a spoof calling card. I use https://www.spoofcard.com/. It's $10 for 60 minutes - very inexpensive. You call the toll free number, enter your card number, enter the number you want to call, and you enter the number you want to appear on the caller id. Your business number is much more professional than 1234567 as a caller id. If a business called me with that number, I wouldn't trust it!!!
