[Update 7/9] SetVolume 0.4 beta 3 - finger friendly volume chang

Hey guys I think some of you were wanting an app like this the other day. Here it is. Over at xda.

This tool is based on the idea from alexun. Link

You need to start the tool manually or add a shortcut in the startup folder.

Features:
  • open using volume hardware buttons if running in background
  • to change volume use the + / - buttons or swipe with your finger
  • use scroll wheel to change volume
  • switch between phone and ringer volume
  • basic skinning support - I am going to write an HowTo soon - If you want to start right now and have questions please PM me
  • two skins included: default and touch (I created the touch skin myself and I know it sucks )
  • default skin - set to vibrate by pressing the middle button
  • default skin - set to mute by pressing and holding the middle button for 2 seconds
  • default skin - close the app by pressing the upper right corner
  • touch skin - dedicated mute / vibrate buttons
  • customizable settings - see settings.ini
  • VGA support (someone just needs to create a skin )
Todo:
  • open when clicking the volume icon
  • transparent background
History:

0.4 (skin me)
  • added basic skinning support
  • added some customizable settings - see settings.ini
  • fixed OK button bug
  • various other bugfixes
0.3 (hooray my phone has volume buttons)
  • added sound notification when changing volume
  • added possibility to change ringer volume
  • added hooking of volume keys

  • rewritten using C++

  • initial Release in C#

Bad news - my Touch is dead and I have to buy a new phone. You are welcome to help me a bit by doing a small donation.

New version written in C++ which greatly improves the speed.

Features:
  • to change volume use the + / - buttons or swipe with your finger around the volume circle
  • use scroll wheel to change volume
  • set to vibrate by pressing the middle button
  • set to mute by pressing and holding the middle button for 2 seconds
  • close the app by pressing the upper right corner
  • closes after 5 seconds when doing nothing
