Garmin Mobile XT Issue please help!!!!

Has anyone else seen this... this just started yesterday. As soon as I boot up garmin a message pops up saying

"Read Access violation at data address 0xEA000020.
Program address 0x002FA6D4 in backround thread NULL
(Main InitInstance)"

Ive tried uninstalling the software and re-installing it. Didnt work, any ideas what this is or how I can fix it? Thanks alot in advance

mine would start freezing...and looking at the error log it said something similar to yours.
turns out it was the sd card's data getting corrupted...soon after it completely died....although with a usb-reader i was able to recover some of the data.
dunno if that's your case...but it was mine. my solution was to get a new sd card.
i'll reformat the bad one later.

So do you think if I took all the information off my card and backed that up, then reformated my microsd card that it would fix the issue?

Ok so update...

I tried reformating my MicroSD to FAT 32 and re-installing Garmin but again same error.

Ok well no one could fix that problem so I went ahead and re loaded a different rom and that fixed the issue... but now the problem is that I cannot get maps to install... I install everything to the SD card then use garmins map install program to install the maps as I used to, but everytime I launch garmin it says no map. Any ideas?
