'Wireless" today screen plugin?

on my ppc6700 i used to use helmis 1.0.4 ROM. it had a plugin in the settings/today/items simply titled 'wireless'.

i now have a titan (6800) and want this plugin but cannot find it. anybody know where to find it?

it has the carrier name you are connected to, wifi network you are connected to, and blue tooth status.

The OEM for "Wireless Today Plugin" is in the PPCGeeks_OEM.rar in the PPCGeeks Kitchen.

i have a 6800. i run the official htc/alltel rom that was recently released. im looking for the cab file.

i dont know what file extension a plugin has. is it exe? are you telling me to copy the exe out of the 1.0.4 kitchen and paste it in windows folder, then create the registry entry above?

also,
i know from the 6700 there where some phones that wont show the carrier name in plugin. i had to copy a file called something like htc_xxx using quallcom software from the old phone. and paste it over the same file in the new phone.

anyone know if there has been a fix for this for the 6800?
are we able to use the same quallcom package for the titan. i remeber having edit an .ini file so it would work with the 6700.

can someone just point me in the right direction.

Just add those registry entries.

No idea what qualcomm package you are speaking of.

its quallcom QPST v2.7 build 215 for windows PC.

it was the nvm_htc file i think. had to be pulled off of my first 6700 and had to replace that file on all other 6700 ivr had since.

now i have the titan 6800. lost the 6700. (not that i think the nvm_htc file would work from the 6700 on the 6800.)

just for to be thorough ill take your word and try adding the reg entrys and let tall know if it work. (if anyone even cares)

added your reg entries. all went well. i got the wireless plugin working. thanks!

But i am still faced with the issue i had from my 6700. and that is the carrier name (mine alltel) is not being displayed. it is blank. has does anyone else have this problem? is there a fix?

like i said before i had to copy the htc_nvm file to get this to work on my 6700.

do sprint and verizon users have their carrier's name displayed in the signal strenght drop-down. (tap antenna icon at top of screen next to clock when data connection is off and see if it has your carriers name)

i think alltel users have this issue of their carrier not being displayed, unless roaming.

when i roam it says things like, "digital roaming", or some other stuff. but it wont display my Home network name.

thanks again. I LOVE this plugin. it give cdma status, wifi staus, bluetooth status. plus if you tap it it opens the comm manager. it is so simple but it just makes me feel better having it.
