Re: Need info on best version of Opera Mini...

The beta versions of OM are anything but stable. The newest Opera Mini works great on my Touch and is extremely stable with the jbed version I am using. It never crashes my phone, but the latest OM beta crashes my phone pretty much every other time I use it.

Not stable!? have you tried opera mobile 9.5 build 1004 yet? its one of the most stable beta browsers i have ever tried, and it is considered the best browser currently avaliable for pocket pcs.

That is the version on my Touch currently, and it freezes my phone constantly. There doesn't seem to be any particular reasons for the lockups, as they happen on random pages. The soft keyboard also pops up for no reason all the time when trying to scroll or zoom. Sometimes I can kill the program from the task manager and keep using the phone, but sometimes I have to soft reset...and this is all in the first day of using it!
