Question on Cab File Maker Program....

I downloaded Cab File Maker to try to make a cab for the doom game i have.....how can i do this; is there a tutorial on doing cabs or something??? is there a better program (freeware) that i can use to make cab files???

Thanks GoodThings2Life but the truth is that i still dont understand what to do.... im not much of a noob, but not much of a ppc geek either. i know how to do registry edits, update roms, etc etc... any how can you please explain a little bit more on how to do this i have a doom.wad file and a gx.dll file, what am i gonna put in the xml file??? am i gonna include this when making the cab?? it might be easy like others posted on that thread, but i just didnt get it. sorry, first time doing this kinda stuff
