Re: TCPMP Skins

the reason i love tcpmp as opposed to HTC Audio Mgr and WMP is because of the ability to amplify the music. When im working out i love my music screaming in my ears to keep me hyped, and WMP and HTC MGR just arent loud enough. Not to mention it handles any type of format I can throw at it.

I would love for someone to skin it......

Re: TCPMP Skins

Hi,
I'm modifying a TCPMP skin for an HTC HD2 and I'm searching for the possible tags for the xml file of the skin. I found some of those tags in some skins but the official site of TCPMP is closed so I didn't found any reference manual or equivalent on this subject.
Can somebody help me ?
(to be more practical, here is an extract from the xml file. I found the tags for several buttons : play, prev, next, ... but I'm sure that there are other possibilities :
<play left=98 top=306 width=43 height=39 pushedleft=98 pushedtop=40/>
<title left=8 top=25 width=223 height=188/>
<prev left=0 top=306 width=51 height=39 pushedleft=0 pushedtop=40/>
<next left=189 top=306 width=51 height=39 pushedleft=189 pushedtop=40/>)

Re: TCPMP Skins

I have placed another topic about TCPMP, about alternative players. So I have lots of crashes and freezes with this app. Maybe you can look at it here what I can do? http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=121251

Happily! Skinnability for TCPMP is more exciting to me than everything I've read about WP7. So, like you, I've written my own skin code:

You can build yours too using the same Info.txt file as I did. This gives all of the currently available tags and context structure that bimbam69 has so brilliantly made possible. It's duely referenced in the 1st post of the newly skinnable version, here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=636423

Here's a link directly to the Info.txt file:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...2&postcount=15

Hope this helps, and have fun building your skin!
MrG

Re: TCPMP Skins

I'll try the latest TCPMP with that Iphone skin what's available by that download. But it works when I installed it. But after closing TCPMP and reopen it my main skin was there. I placed that skin.xml in the TCPMP map and the map skin also there. So what's wrong?

Re: TCPMP Skins

Sorry, I am confused over what you are saying. But it seems that somehow your skin changes after first use? Maybe you need to go through the steps bimbam outlined:

Options > Skins...

Then navigate to the skin you want to keep every time you open TCPMP (until you go through the same steps and navigate to some other skin).

Re: TCPMP Skins

I did that but it didn't work. I put the map skin and that xml in the TCPMP folder again and it looks that it works fine for now.
