I can not test this since I do not have access to a Treo 700w/wx.
However, apparently there is an application that does not allow you to change the softkeys on this device.

It automatically re-assigns them back to the default actions.

I can see the change right after a soft reset...but after the system completely reboots the soft keys have returned to SMS and Menu. I wonder if it has something to do with the Palm software that runs beneath WM5.
