or you can take the easy way and use dashwire.com
-pretty much backs up your whole entire phone -its free -use it right from your computer and your phone can update wireless -but usb connection is faster (your choice) -great and easy choice LOL |

Just reading through the Dashwire site and it states that "you’ll be prompted to install a small application on your phone that will keep your phone constantly connected and in-sync with your private, web-based Dashwire account." How badly does this affect the battery since it is constantly connected?

Trag- Once a user uploads content to the web, it will always be accessible to them, even if they don't have the Dashwire client installed on their phone. That said, the data won't be constantly updated unless the client is on the phone, nor will users be able to transfer contacts and settings to another phone unless the client is present. Yet it would probably be ideal to just keep it on your phone if it wasn't too much trouble
