Is there a way to save my contacts on my storage card? I have been searching because I lost my contacts twice .

Re: Saving contacts

Also, you can just copy pim.vol from the root of your device to your storage card. Doesn't typically work across OS versions (ex: upgrading from WM6 to WM6.1, etc), but it's good for a quick backup. PIM.vol also contains calendar events, etc.

Just reading through the Dashwire site and it states that "you’ll be prompted to install a small application on your phone that will keep your phone constantly connected and in-sync with your private, web-based Dashwire account." How badly does this affect the battery since it is constantly connected?

U don't have to have it constantly updating. I just manually sync my dashwire account every other day or so, before I go to sleep.
