You might check out the mort script forum at TreoCentral. Seems to me at one time cody, sling, or hannip may have been working on one.

late,

Try Journal Bar

One thing I am not a fan of is the lack of ability to buy movie tickets via the movies section. It is nice to know what times the shows are playing, but then you have to open PIE separately to purchase the tickets. Oh well...not everything can be perfect!

Live search version 2.0.2739.29907 with GPS support. This is the best most stable mapping program I have used yet.

What I see different.
1) Movies
2) GPS support
3) Full turn by turn directions with alerts
4) GPS start and end point marking for getting directions
5) Location icon shows direction of travel

I am excited about this because I was not impressed with the Google Maps handling of GPS and was looking for an alternative mapping solution.

Tried the new version on my 6800, but the keyboard problem is still there.

I installed this version of Live Search on my PPC-6700 as part of Helmi's 1.04 Kitchen, but it has never worked. All I see is a brownish screen covered with circular arrows, similar to the Active Sync arrows on my PC task bar.

When I click on Movie Showtimes, for example, I get, "Sorry, we couldn't complete your search request. Please check your network connection." PIE and other Internet connections work fine.

I don't have a GPS, but I did set up my location in the program. What else am I missing?

I've had this version for a while now. Are you sure it's new?

Also I've noticed that if you have extended_rom unlocked and u use the cache to storage card feature, WLS will cache on extended_rom instead of storage card and will not be able to cache more than a couple of megs. Anyone else notice this?

Vox command is pretty sweet. Haven't had any issues with it understanding me even with some loud background noise. And the gas price feature is pretty cool too.

It seems pretty stable. I wish the selections ("categories", "map", "directions", etc) could be wrapped. Seems like a lot of button pushing to go from "categories" to "gas prices". Yes...my time is that valuable that I can't even waste 3 seconds hitting that d-pad button 6 times.

late,
Coz

I'm really digging the voice command function. So much easier than typing
