MissingSync (Mac) - FINALLY, an update!
MacGeeks - I have been semi-happily using SyncMate for the past few months, as I gave up hope that MissingSync (MarkSpace) would ever get their shizzy together with Leopard. Whelp, to my overwhelming surprise, I found this today - an updated beta version that fixes a lot of the issues and...wait for it...adds MOUNT ability back to MissingSync! Woohoo!
Been running it all afternoon with zero issues and I am pleased to recommend it. http://www.markspace.com/testing/ Cheers!

Re: MissingSync (Mac) - FINALLY, an update!
MissingSync used to be the standard before Leopard came out. Then it took them a while to get their act together, and SyncMate stepped in as the new kid. I like SyncMate's reliability, but I don't like the driver constantly running on my device and I don't like how as my Touch goes in and out with reception and the screen lights up, SyncMate will start itself up on my computer. What I have been waiting for is the ability to mount my phone as a drive, which is possible under 10.4.x but until this latest beta had not been possible under Leopard. That is something that SyncMate is not able to do, and is perhaps the most important feature that these kinds of software must have.
And then of course there is the ability to sync over Bluetooth, which SyncMate does not have (yet). |

Yea, I agree with you. But, I can say that Syncmate has been doing it, and since I did pay for it, I will go along with its bandwagon for now! I am keeping an eye on Missing Sync as it was the "first" that solved my syncing needs.
