I d/led it last night and its a great program. I'm having some problems though. So before I installed the new v3, I saved my user dictionary to my storage card. After installing V3 soft reset etc, when I went to replace the user dictionary it was changed to "user_dic_txt" or somthing very similiar. I went ahead and copy pasted all my previous words from older dictionary and posted them into the new txt. When I type none of my user words come up. When I look at the "user_dic_txt" there are numbers next to my words I pasted onto the text. For example, if I copied over the word "krazichinaman" it would show "krazichinaman 4". Yet, when I actually use the keyboard to type it, it doesn't recognize it. Anyone have any ideas whats going on with it?

Also when you go into settings> personel> input> Touchpal Options> can you click on "Word Completion" or "Options" ? I d/l the free version but I figured I would be able to access these tabs until my 15 day trial runs out and it reverts back to the free version. Maybe this is the reason why my user defined words aren't popping up?

I LOVE this keyboard! I'm having the same installation problem though that I had with Version 2. I follow all the instructions, do all the reboots, and when I run the cab, it installs all the way up to "reboot now?" And when I let it reboot, only the resources and surfaces files show up in the prog folder.

With V2, Cootek sent me some customized files to copy to the prog folder and everything worked perfectly. I've written already for V3 support. And, these guys are great, I expect it by tomorrow morning. After I get it going, I'll check back with an opinion or two.

This app is otherwise simple and elegant. Like MemMaid, it's worth every penny of the price.

why cant i get v3 to work on the xv6900?!? i had v2 working fine!! i went to settings-input-touchpal but when i try to load it, it says "input method could not be loaded" any suggestions?!

Is it me or does V3 use more memory then V2 standard version? I seem to be booting up with 1.2 less MB now :/

Does anyone got a V2 standard cab kicking around? I was Foolish and deleted it when I found out v3 was out.

I tell ya what Fellow PPC GEEKS;
The v.3 for TouchPal may have new features but it looks awful w/pixalated
fonts...The Preview that is on You Tube however looks awesome, that is what I was hoping to get, after playing with it over night...I decided to go back to v.2 as it looks so much better; I figure I'll wait til they make it look right before I re-install v.3...

That is just a dark version of the new skin...Not Classic as in the original....

yep, it sucks too, im about to uninstall this and go back to v2. it looks way better and worked fine, and it this point im kinda like "if it aint broke dont fix it". maybe when they get it together ill go back to v3
