Is any possible way to get a shortcut into O2 that isn't in the Programs folder? I'm using Colonel's 3.3beta3 and he has many apps grouped together in folders which makes it really convenient (or at least I think so). This is what I'm talking about:

But when you go into O2 and add more shortcuts it only lets you select programs that are in the Programs folder. None of the subfolders show up, and I'd rather not copy or move the shortcuts from their folders into the Program folder. Is there a config file or something I could edit to get it to look in a different folder for the shortcut? Thanks in advance.

There are probably many ways to do this, but I use File Explorer and go to the location where the program .exe file is located. Copy that file using Menu-Edit-Copy. Then go to the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and click on Menu-Edit-Paste Shortcut. You should now be able to go to O2 Shortcuts and select your program.

Note if you want this program to show up in the "Start" drop-down menu, Paste the Shortcut to \Windows\Start Menu. Then go to Start-Settings-Menu and put a check mark by the program.

I appreciate the help but in my initial post I stated:

I definitely don't want to move the shortcuts and I'd rather not copy them because that just takes up space, although I know it is a very small amount I would just like to know if there is another way.

I got 02 with Colonel's 3.3 ROM too. I've used it's shortcuts to replace Spb Pocketplus tabs. Only problem is that there doesn't seem to be a way to navigate between tabs with the joystick (with PocketPlus, moving the joystick left and right moved between tabs) -- anyone find a way to do this?

I've also had to move some of Colonel's shortcuts into the main Programs folder to make them available as 02 shortcuts.

The other thing that I miss is that in PocketPlus there were many more "system" options to add; here there are only a few -- any way to add more of the system stuff as shortcuts?

Thanks.

dannzeman, you can do it in the registry. That is how I got the default ones to show up. Off the top of my head, I think it is [HKCU\Software\O2\O2plus]. You should be able to figure out how to do it from the ones that are already there.

CMeys, don't think there is any of adding this capability if it is not built in.

I didn't expect to add it; just thought maybe there was some information that I was missing as to how to do it. Thanks.

How do I get the original skin? I went to the site and saw other ones, but like the original that I see in the original post.

Seriously, you remember that off the top of your head? Well that deserves rep points if you ask me. I just looked at the reg entries and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to get it. I'll have to mess with it during class tomorrow, off to work right now. Thanks for your help!

I remember it because I had to write them in there . If you can't figure it out, let me know.
