Text Message notification stops working after using icontact 0.6

Has anyone else had this problem? Ever since I installed icontact 0.6, my text message notification is acting flakey. When I initially installed it, the notification was gone completely. I then did a soft reset and it came back. It will work 5 or 6 times, but then it will disappear again until I soft reset again.

I am using a different sound, one that I downloaded from here (was included in the Portal sounds). Not sure why it does this. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just coincidence that my phone is acting up after installing icontacts?

Thanks for any insight!

Re: Text Message notification stops working after using icontact 0.6

I have a sprint touch with the stock rom....nothing done to it...well the ROM at least...lol

I installed the cab file, but for some reason it didn't remap the right softkey properly, when I clicked on it, an error message came up. So I used that remap program and it worked with it. Just now I set the notification sound back to the default sound, and it works fine, but as soon as I used the custom sound it stopped again.

So it's hard to put a finger on who's to blame, the custom sound or icontacts, or a combination of both.

I'll just stick to the default sound for now, I am used to it anyhow.
