Re: Best Explorer, Cast Ur Vote!

I just tried Opera 9.5 and i didnt like it, it takes forever to load images, besides it crashed a couple of times. I've heard a couple of good reviews for skyfire and Netfront so i'll see. Right now PIE is not looking to bad anymore lol

Re: Best Explorer, Cast Ur Vote!

I think the poll should have a definitive opera mini or mobile and skyfire options. I'd go with opera mini, cause skyfire hasn't sent me their beta yet

Re: Best Explorer, Cast Ur Vote!

Skyfire (although it has Beta bugs) > Opera Mini (4.1 Beta is nice) > Opera Mobile (9.405) > PIE and I never used Netfront. It's weird though I have three different browsers on my phone, I use all three depending on the application. Like if posting I use Opera Mobile. And searching for something Opera Mini and anything else Skyfire. Also all three browsers are Beta. I can't wait till they come out of beta

Re: Best Explorer, Cast Ur Vote!

can't wait for skyfire.. still waiting on the beta invite, i've only heard great things!

I love opera mini when i wanna FLY through pages with my mogul's rev A (my dslreport.com speed is an average of 1800 kbps!!!)... But having to DL through PIE is kinda lame...

Opera mobile's 9.405 rocks except for the "error reports" i get a couple times a day... You don't have to go through PIE to download anything and it gives you a user-friendly menu to select where you want to save the file... As soon as they release the official (glitch-proof) version, it'll be dope.

I think the only thing i actually use PIE for is m.youtube.com cuz it seems to load the fastest.

Like i said, i can't wait for Skyfire Beta 2 invite... just youtube it if you don't know... its a pretty huge stepping stone for PPCs!

Re: Best Explorer, Cast Ur Vote!

I love skyfire, use it 95% of the time. As I use it more I've gotten much quicker dealing with the zoom. If I'm not using Skyfire, its because I want to use the Youtube plugin for PIE.

Re: Best Explorer, Cast Ur Vote!

I use opera beta 9.5, and netfront 3.5, The slow performance and very slow scrolling in PIE makes it almost useless to me. Not being able to drag the screen around on a touch screen is just awkward

Re: Best Explorer, Cast Ur Vote!

I like Netfront, but it is a memory hog.
Opera 8 is really nice.
But i like to keep it simple with pie+

Re: Best Explorer, Cast Ur Vote!

Is it possible for someone that owns Skyfire to send me the file that they have downloaded to install it? Is this something that can be done? Please PM me for more info on that. So far, I would have to say Netfront is cutting it for me.
