Re: iContacts 0.6 just released as well as source
I've Used this app before and love and loving the updated Version..Just always wanted to know how to get it to pop up when the contacts icon (option) is pressed instead of the OEM one..anyone know of a way to edit something in the Reg to do this....

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\TODAY\KEYS\11 3 Just create the 113 key under keys and then created a string under that with the name "open" and value "icontact.exe" Also created a string there called "default" and the string is "Contacts" I also have icontacts placed in my windows directory. Key 112 is for the calender so you can use that as a example. This worked on my Mogul [EDIT] Actually if you just go to this link he has a cab installer that will do this all for you. It's towrds the bottom of the first page... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=383109 Last edited by jpeepers; 04-07-2008 at 02:41 PM. |

if editing the registry scares you this application is an easy way to re-map the softkeys
