Re: How do I get ride of Vistahide?
Try to close the app first, then go to your start up folder and delete it. You may have to go to the upper right screen, the ok button. Where it shows your apps running, rty closing it there.

Re: How do I get ride of Vistahide?
vistahide doesn't have a cab or zip file. It is just a exe file. When I try to delete it it says "the source or destination file may be in use."

Re: How do I get ride of Vistahide?
Thank you for your help.
I ran that task manager and ended vistahide. It then says that it has been successfully killed in a little pop up window. Then it freezes, nothing else will work. If I tap on the screen it will light back up and make a beep and the window just stays up. Can't do anything else. What to do? Is it really this hard to get rid of this damn thing? Has nobody else removed vistahide before? |

Re: How do I get ride of Vistahide?
It finally unfroze. The screen had to turn all the way off and when I turned it back on, it unfroze.
The gauge is still at the top though. I am trying to delete it from the startup folder, but this time it just has the windows processing icon that rotates in the middle of the screen. Frozen again. |
