Trapster - GPS speedtrap/red light camera database
Saw this on SlashDot, definitely looks interesting. Has information on speedtraps and red light cameras. Hopefully this takes off because I'm sure it would be better than what TomTom and other POI services if enough people contributed to it.

thanks, will give it a shot and see if it's good.
PS. by the way, the direct cab file doesn't seem to work for me, but the .zip file is good.

Re: Trapster - GPS speedtrap/red light camera database
Looks kinda lame. Is this supposed to be real time right? Like I see a cop and I press the 1 to upload to the data base there is a cop at 5th and main and then it would warn other drivers in that area? I cant see it being to accurate. I live in Maine and non of the cams in my town are on it either. Its all about the Garmin. It has the same red light/speed cam POI.

Cool new software TRAPSTER
I just added Trapster to my TYTN II here in Florida. Trapster will warn me whenever I'm driving in an area where there is police radar. Whenever I see radar I send the report to Trapster by my cell phone. Its just one number speed dial. This program is all over the USA. Go to Trapster.com to join ,its free
