A Question Bout The Emulator 'SmartGear'

Okay, so I decided to give Emulators another try. I recently tried out SmartGear, and I LOVE IT! However, I'm having 2 issues right now.

1.) It will let me save, but when I open that ROM and try to LOAD my previous game it gives me an error message every time with every game. This kinda sucks, right? I mean, who wants to start from the first level EVERY SINGLE TIME?! lol

2.) It claims to be multi-platform. (i.e. NES, SNES, GENEIS...) When I go into the options you can change the options for each platform. However, I can't seem to figure out how to load any of my SNES Roms using SmartGear..

Can anyone help me out??
