Hi and welcome to the site. All the info is in the first post in this thread. Once you have the donator version, sMMS has an OTA update, which will inure that you always have the latest version.

I can't figure out how to use the intercept function. If I understand it correctly you get sms messages saying you have picture mails that link to the picture. SMMS intercepts those and automatically downloads the picture.

However I have never gotten these sms messages, is there a way to enable them on Sprints Picture Mail web site ?

I believe intercept is a full SMMS feature for donors.

I have the full version and am a donor. I have never gotten any messages from sprint saying i have picture mails. Since this is what gets intercepted how do i get those messages working.

It's in the settings... You have to enable intercept and the phone will reboot.


That being said... Are there any new versions coming out soon? Or has this project stopped?

I think you are misunderstanding my problem. I know how the intercept works. But I never get the sms from Sprint for picturemail. So sMMS has nothing to inercept. How do I enable the sms alerts from Sprint so that sMMS can intercept them ?

There is a version built specifically for the Touch Pro and Diamond that enables Notifications for those phone. You will have to log into the sMMS Donor's Forum to download it.
