Re: sMMS Picture Mail Composer

So now that the Sprint Picture Mail site can handle sending video, are we going to see that functionality added to sMMS?

You can't send videos through the site.

This led me to think that we now could:

So is the video functionality mentioned not through the site?

Correct. It's not the site that allows video, it's the phones with the capability. If it suddenly happens I'm sure an announcement will be made.

that's an issue with Smartphone correct? Because I could send video before I got my Smartphones.

Just a thought here: But if we can send animated GIFS, etc and we can receive video, what if we converted video to GIF files or flash files?

Could they be sent that way?

In regards to Sprint's Picturemail Service:

You have always been able to send video's directly from video-mail capable devices

However, this has always excluded Windows Mobile devices ever since the 6700.
The website doesn't offer the ability to send videos or sMMS would include that feature

But I've uploaded video to the website recentl and sent them with no issues. But like you said , the phone has to support the service as well. you would think that with all the complaining about Picturemail for Smartphones, they would have added videos into the program as well.
