Re: APP REQUEST Remap the Start Button
Yes start button. You need to program the button, press it first so AEButton Plus knows where it is then you can assign it.

Re: APP REQUEST Remap the Start Button
I think it needs to be clarified whether the OP, meant the physical harware start button or the start menu logo soft button in the top bar....?
AEButton plus allows you to remap the hardware start button if i remember correctly.

Re: APP REQUEST Remap the Start Button
That's what I figured. AEButton Plus is only related to the hardware buttons. I would like to be able to remap the start menu bar as well. I also want to know how to remove the word "Start" from next to the windows logo or atleast change it.

Re: APP REQUEST Remap the Start Button
You might check out QuickMenu. There is a feature that allows you to change the on-screen function of the Start Menu. For example, when tap and hold the Start Menu on my screen it opens up Internet Favorites menu. However, if I just tap it without holding, my normal Start Menu opens.

Re: APP REQUEST Remap the Start Button
The whole point of this app that I was hoping someone would create was to get away
from all the drop down menus because none of them are finger friendly. If an app can only assign one program or shortcut that alone would be finger friendly when you push the start button. With all the shortcut cubes and so on, I don't need a cascading drop down menu. Especially when it's not finger friendly. "Trying to get away from the stylus as much as possible. Thanks, T M Z |
