Anyone tried this yet or know of a place with a review for a WM5 device? I'm using MS Live Search and really like it. I did read that Google Maps tracks the data usage in the corner of the screen, which I like.

Is anyone able to install this application to their storage card? When prompted I select install to storage card, but it still installs into main memory! I don't even see an option to locate the map cache to the storage card, so that's even a bigger problem. I posted this over at the PDAPhoneHome forum as well.

I went ahead and installed it... It seems really cool! Any tips on how to get the best out of it for a beginner? How can I set the preferences so that it starts from my city instead of San Francisco? And do I need an external GPS receiver with it or is there a way to make it use the internal 911 locator cell tower GPS thing (whatever it's called)? Using a Sprint PPC-6700. What is this MS Live search? Does it use the internal cell tower GPS thing or does it require an external GPS unit? |
