yea, the thing that would make this awesome for touch pro/diamond users is to scroll using the hardware scroll wheel, it'd be like you had a real iPod.

My virus scan (McAfee) picked up a trojan in the zip file.

There is no WVGA version, right? Will any current ones work on my TP2?

I have no idea. There isn't an official WQVGA version, but the QVGA version works just fine on my Omnia. Use the VGA version, it should work without any issues.
