TCPMP Hiccups when streaming live audio in stand by mode

Don't know if this has been covered or not. But when i listen to a internet radio station and my phone goes into standby with the screen off, the audio pauses consistenly while it rebuffers and then plays again. I have played with the buffer settings to no avail. It doesn't do this when the screen is on. But like an ipod, I would like to have the screen off to maximize the battery while listening to this audio. Any help would be great. Also i am using a link i saved with the .asx extention. Don't know if that makes a difference. I am also using the latest stock rom with RL today and wisbar for skins and S2U2 for the lock.

Moderators, if this has been covered somewhere else, please point me in the right direction since i have spent hours searching this forum for anything related and all i found is about video playback on youtube.

If you're having problems with TCPMP you might want to look at some other audio players (e.g., MortPlayer, GSPlayer, PocketMusic, RescoPocketRadio, etc.).

These are all very tweakable, skinable, etc.

Ummm...no, they are all strictly audio players.

I downloaded the progs that you suggested COZ and gsplayer is the only one that i got to work. I had to selected a m3u stream instead of the asx one. It works a lot better then TCPMP when streaming with the screen off. I am still having problems even with this one with buffering. I forgot to mention this is a Mogul in my first post and the rom is the stock 3.35 one that just came out. I have a feeling the problem with TCPMP is also suffering from a buffer issue when the phone is in standby. Any pointers from the Guru's on here would be welcomed music to my annoyed ears.
