So obviously this has to be running in order to be seen online and receive messages all the time, right? Bummer, I can't use my "Close All Apps" button to free up memory. :( I guess that's what a today plugin would do?

I just can't wait for it to be 100% functional! Send / Receive files, being able to leave it on ALL day :) I love leaving it on all day :D hehe.

Why don't you stop using that button and set the x button to close apps on tap instead of hold. When you want to "minimize" an app just hit the end call key.

Sorry, I am relatively new to the PPC scene...how do I change the "X" setting? Is that in the Windows Mobile settings somewhere?

So, I was using slick but not kept getting error messages. I just installed palringo and really like it, but am wondering how this compares. has anyone tried using this and palringo simultaneously by using the palringo account exclusively on palringo and the other accounts on jt?

I'm running Windows 6.1 on my HTC Touch Dual, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever on mine... :s. What problems are you having exactly?

I can't get it to run on dharvey's "Almost stock" ROM.

Maybe it does't work right with .NET 3.5CF?

If you are using a cooked rom that the author stripped SQLCE out of it, it won't work. Problem is I have not been able to find a way to get it back on the rom with the cabs from MS. Doesnt work.

Yea first thing I tried was downgrading the .NET CF and it still didn't work. I love this rom but I hate to give up jivetalk

I keep having problems connecting to ICQ, but the rest work great.

Anyone figure out how to make jivetalk auto-start, and auto-login?

I keep forgetting to start it! luckily I have IM-Forwarding set up with AIM, but most people don't send you a message if they see that you are on your mobile

Even OZ could do that... but it's cool none-the-less (and pretty much a necessity..)

Jivetalk is the best app. In all honesty, I can't wait for the full version to come out. Has anyone tried the BB version? I've been a BB user for a while, and I used JT since the first week I got my BB. I loved it. IM+ is crap compared to it. hehe. This new build works well though (5.3.13). Love it :).

Same ROM I am using---but GPS goes inactive after about 6 hours... you have to soft-reset... this never happened when I ran the leaked ROM, or Dharvey's "almost stock" ROM...

So.....now I'm on OMJ's and have my jivetalk back :)

Can anyone verify that on the lastest build you need to have internet connection running first or will it automatically start one? Thanks

It doesn't happen every day, but sometimes GPS just won't lock. Google Maps will say that it can't connect to the GPS driver... Soft-reset required...

I found this on xda
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...=370772&page=2
post #15.
Downloaded the sql thing and it worked for me.

Does anyone know if I can combine the buddy list and the mobile list together for AIM. Half my buddies are on one list and the other is on another. On my aim they are all together.

Probably not for a while, because if you look at their blog, they release a version every month, so .... After Alpha, will come Beta, and after Beta will come a RC1 or 2, if they go to that stage. So we're looking at a little while. I Wish we could put a flame under their bum and get it rolling! :D This is the greatest app ever, and I use it all day. Anyone that has used the Blackberry version would agree, and if they can get it to work as well as the BB version, then I think WM will turn not only from an OS, but a TRUE Communication tool because I, personally, left Jivetalk on my BB on ALL Day, 24/7. Never shut it off. :)
