Re: JiveTalk Alpha

So from what I'm getting from this thread is that basically some it will work on and some roms it wont. I've installed every netframe and sql or what ever that is and jive talk won't work. when i flashed to 5069, it did work but I don't like that layout. I use the 5067 build os and I can't find a way to get it to work with that os at all, like the other guy said, i've given up, and will just wait till the official rom or an updated build os ](*,). Any ideas would be helpful but i've read all the pages on this post and have tried everything.

Directly from Microsoft's website.

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

You download it to your PC, and install via activesync.

Even if you don't use activesync, it still puts several cab files in the \Program Files\.Net (or something,) and you can just copy the correct cab to your PPC.

Don't forget the SQLCE installation as well...

And the SQLCE install is done on the phone itself, i just want to make sure i did it right?

I just installed the beta but now i get a popup saying: An error message cannot be displayed because an optional resource assembly containing it cannot be found. Is anyone else getting this after going from the alpha to the beta?

Yeah I'm getting the same thing. I think it has to do with needing to activate now and it seems down or broken at the moment.
