Oh one thing I notice that might help people out cause it wouldnt allow me to sign on also. You have to be in a current data connection for you to be able to connect. So on my 6800 I hit the internet and connect will real quick. Just so I will be connected to data then go back to jive talk and sign on. Cause if you just click on sign on and your phone is currently not connected to data it wont work it will give you an error message!

Just got this error pop up message when trying to log on.

"An error message cannot be displayed because an option resource assembly containing it cannot be found." Wtf does that mean?

As a programmer myself, this is most likely simply telling you that the error details for the error that happened could not be found within the error data they have created for the application so far. As in, if it's error #500, show the user this data, etc.

This is most likely due to incomplete error data being available because this is still in Alpha.

well found a error well big error for us ppc6800 guys. when u use java and opera mini and u have it running in the backround if u get a message it crashes. this they need to fix. also love the program. just need to work on that problem and make it boot faster. like slick or webmessanger.

I've noticed that, too. But I didn't really think anything of it, I thought it had just lost connection until I noticed again and again. :P

Downloaded the sql thing and it worked for me.

Does anyone know if I can combine the buddy list and the mobile list together for AIM. Half my buddies are on one list and the other is on another. On my aim they are all together.

I got this to work too, but I had to go with .net 2.0, and not 3.5... works now... cool

These are the equivalent to the versions you need on the desktop... Basically, Windows doesn't have the built-in ability to 'execute' programs written in .NET ... there are certain libraries/functions that need to be 'installed' before these applications will function.

SQL is a database system that some programs use. I don't know what part of JiveTalk needs it, but it could have something to do with storing each account/buddy/IM history...

That's a lot of information, and would need a nice, clean database to do it efficiently... hence, the SQL..
