I use OPmon with great success. Just change the refresh rate to 1 after you edit the name you want displayed and your good.

i did that, but now it won't do anything..just says SPRINT, it was working with original personalizer file

UPDATE: it works when i got to phone screen, then after few secs goes back to sprint

Hi,

Although Personalizer is being updated, it is not being updated here at PPCGeeks.

If you want the writer update to work, you are better off posting over at StatusTicker site and I am sure it will be fixed there.

This is working great on my TP 2. THANKS..!! Is it possible to change the color of the text? I just changed my wallpaper and you cant see the text anymore because of the white color text and white back ground. Thanks again for the great app!!

Here is Personalizer with an updated cab. I hope it works. The ONLY change is letting it run only when the home page and phone screens.

This app may work with 4.3b11 which is posted here. It may even work with version 4.3b1 but I will need to try it to make sure.

Woah!! I installed this cab and it worked for about 5 minutes, then boom, my phone just turned off and it will not turn back on. Any suggesstions??

Question about personalizer:

Ive got this installed on my HTC Imagio and every once in awhile it will flash back to Verizon Wireless. Ive got it set as a space so when it changes back to VZW it sticks out like mad.

Is this normal?

As far as the updated Personalizer script, To clarify, the only change is not letting it run unless it it on the home screen or phone screens. [-X

While StatusTicker now supports HTC home, the Personalizer updated cab does not yet. When it is updated I will get rid of the download link here so new updates will come from SkinZone.org :king:

I have a Verizon and the name changes on the left but on the right how you get the date there?? Other than that this cab is cool stuff!! Thanks Plumber Cody, lol.

Hi Guys,

I installed the original 3.1 cab yesterday ad all was working well but I noticed that my battery was draining very fast. When I tried to uninstall the app, I get ''Personalizer was not completely removed....'' and the app still remains in my programs list even after soft reset. Is there any way I can remove the app fully without hard resetting the handset?

I am using this on my TP2 and it works but it wont allow me to go back and change the customized text. One it has been changed the program will no longer load. Any ideas?

FYI : Personalizer_3.1 on WM6.5 causes TellMe not to work as in Titanium (and perpaps TF3D). It causes the homescreen to come to the foreground so you can't speak into Tell Me.

Any WM phone that has the carrier name displayed.

So even with Mobile Shell 3 or Facade for smartphone these messages show up.

It works for me, but it flashes the regular carrier text every 30 or so seconds. Any fix for that, or is it just somethin that i have to deal with?

It does that for me as well. I think it might be that the server refreshes the name at that time, and it comes up as Sprint, then the program kicks in and corrects it.

Iit still says sprint in the upper RIGHT corner of my screen. How do i take that off? The only option i get is to change the name in the upper LEFT corner? What am i missing?

Yes i did read the first page. But, i noticed on the screen shots uploaded by users there is a date in the upper RIGHT corner, and not the carrier logo. How so? This is how mine looks. Notice how it still says sprint.

That's a graphic file. If you search the Themes and Software section of the TP2 forum you'll find the info you need to change or remove it.
