minor annoyances, for example, coming back from standby the carrier name would flash Sprint then my personalized banner= fail

Uninstalled it, and my carrier name was blank for about 3 soft resets, before it defaulted back to normal

Cody does this version cripple the Sprint Offical Picture Mail and prevent the Opera browser from correctly logging into Sprint Music Store, on the TP? The version I download about a month ago did both. Removing from programs corrected the Picture Mail problems but a hard reset was the only way to re-enable Sprint Music Store. Thanks for a reply in advance.

Sweet. Thanks. I changed it to read "Ma Bell" :) First I tried "American Telegraph and Telephone", but it cut off the "Telephone" part of the label on HTC Home.

Hi all,

This is a really nice app.

Bu I tried to install the 3.1 version. without any result.

There doesnt come a program in the programslist.
I did install something cause I can find it in the program files directory

I can launch the mort file and use it but when I soft reset it doesnt keep the change I made.

any one know what I am doing wrong?

Its on the Touch HD

Thanks for the app. Just installed and all works great! Any answers on the few questions about running in the background and eating up a little of the battery? Just wondering. Thanks again for the hard work on it!

Hey cody great app been using it for quite some time first on my mogul then on my touch pro just wanted to ask y your app would interfere with me sending or recieveing picturemail via sprint,tryed sending and recieveing with the app on no dice turned the app off repeated the process send and recieve worked fine just wondering if you might be able to shed some light on the situation,thanks.

there is one other option. this app was written for many devices. i could make a tp only version that would only write to one carrier spot. right now it writes to three spots in the registry. this takes no extra effort or batter, just made it easier to write for mulitple devices.

i dont have a wm device right know, but will before too long. i will look into this as soon as i find a fix.

I'd love it if you could do that I can try it on the Diamond and the Pro (both of which are affected!)

CodyPPC,

I do not want to sound like a total ID-10-T, but I have downloaded and installed the S2U2 v1.50 app, and the provider information at the top is showing as 'No Carrrier'. I searched the web, and it recommneded your app 'PERSONALIZER'.

I got the latest version as per this forum, but once installed...I am not seeing an ICON for it on the phone. I have the SAMSUNG OMNIA (just got it yesterday 02/27/09), and it is running WM6.1.

Any clues as to why it is not showing the installed application once it is installed? Does this application require something else be installed (i.e. .NET CF or something)?

Update... Ok, below is the 3.1 cab version. 3.0 was missing one very inportant thing that prevented it from working. The OEM version 3.0 is the same version. It didn't need a fix.

CAB INSTALL... Since the 3.0 version was so messed up, I am asking you to remove (uninstall) the older versions VIA settings/add-remove programs. Normally one version will over-write the other, but since I changed the name of the app (by mistake) you could actually have two version loaded at the same time. Unistall all old apps before installing.
This Cab version can now be installed in main memory or the SD card. I dont know if it can be installed into extended ROM yet.

OEM_Packet... This version is for the cooks. If you are cooking your own ROMs and want this programs install in the ROM, this is what you want. Please note that you MUST also install the MORTSCRIPT OEM_Package as well.

Man this is just what I wanted! Thanks!! And I hate to sound unsatisfied, because I am very satisfied with this, but is there anyway to add the option to change the START text as well?? I have heard of a program called Opmon that allows this to happen, but no success finding it and this works so well, it would just be a nice lil addition!! Just a thought, Thanks!!1:headbang:

Hello :)

Thanks for your sharing.
I just installed it on my HTC Touch. But when the installation is complete, nothing happens, and I don't see an icon in the Programs menu.

great app cody! you are a genious, works great on sprint touch pro with juicy 7 rom, no mms issues with arcsoft mms cab, pic mail is garbage anyways

i noticed a excessive battery drain with personalizer, my rhodium runs under normal usage 3 days with personalizer enabled only a bit more than a day-.
What can i do to remove the op logo

Should I be looking out for a specific issue with this program so I can report it to you Cody, like PicMail? What is Picmail anyways?

I have noticed that this app is unofficially being updated now.

There is a updated Personalizer script there that does lessen the battery drain.

Newer versions add a ticker effect and many other features.

To only update your installation of Personalizer, just copy the b1 files over the old Personalizer files.

That will make Personalizer not so battery intensive.

To run the StatusTicker, you will need to stop Personalizer. You may need to install Mortscript if you uninstall Personalizer completely. Then just run the script. If you like it you can create a shortcut in your startup folder.

That's what I did.

and i think the newest version is f.

To update Personalizer just replace "Personalizer writer.mscr".
