This has been discussed many times already, but short answer is No, unless you are currently in on the beta there is no way of gettting in.... Even if you have a .cab file it still won't work.

Re: Skyfire Support

Once again Skyfire is acting up, you know this has been the norm for the last month now. I'm finding myself using Opera Mini more and more and I must admit, it handles overall web surfing much better. (Imagine scrolling across a page and not waiting five to ten seconds for the application to catch up.) If the next release of Skyfire doesn't improve I'm uninstalling.

Choppy internet video and flash support isn't worth the level of aggression and hassle Skyfire gives end users to simply read a site.

I completely agree with the aggrivation, but I will still not un-install, because I really think it has potential.. They need to get their butts in gear though, because Opera 9.51 will soon have the same exact features.. I really thought they were going to beat everyone else to the punch, but due to the long lag in updates, I am starting to wonder what they are doing, exactly..!! They must have taken the summer off or something.. Then again, so has Netfront.. They haven't released 3.4 or the greatly improved 3.5, and they are due for another release soon.. I just am hoping it is not just another beta, but an actual final version, or the last beta version, with some kind of plugins.. So, set-aside from Opera, they are just doing what everyone else seems to be doing..
When can we get a decent full-experience browser, that doesn't hog memory like crap, and have faster speeds than these current dial-up browsers??

Re: Skyfire Support

So, I got in under the cnet100 round and downloaded skyfire, but I flashed a new rom. Can I get it back? Can anyone tell me how? I downloaded it from my phone, so I don't have the cab on my PC.

Thanks.

Re: Skyfire Support

I just got mine, and so far so good. I am liking this one better than opera, but we shall see in weeks to come.

And a special thanks to Goddbody for finding me a beta code!
