Re: Official Release: SPB Mobile Shell 2.0

i would love to be able to lovk the screen from the now screen as well. but even more importantly, i would love for my SMS notification to work on the NOW screen, the little norifier does not light up. it does for missed calls and emails, just not texts, which really sucks. if i cant get this to work i will be very upset.

that's strange mine lights up. but maybe its because im using the palm sms. when you hit the sms button does it pull up the messenger program?

im using the palm SMS as well. when i hit the sms button it does bring me to my messages, but without the lil envelope lighting up, i dont have a way of noticing i have one.
did you change anything in the registry or anyhting with the palm sms?

nope. nothing for alerts and warning. when you get an sms you dont get any warning at all? did you have a waring be for you installed mobile shell?

i get the normal alert. the message window pops up, the the icon on the task bar is there. but nothing on the NOW screen shows i have a text
i thought about upgrading to WM 6.1 but have never flashed before. or uninstalling the palm ap. but i love the threaded messaging.

I dont know you could try a hard reset and install every program one at a time testing after every install. it tedious and time consuming but sometimes its the only way to figure out what is causing a problem
