I have noticed no difference in battery performance. In fact there is really no reason to expect it to "eat" your battery.

Well 2.0 ate my battery like no tomorrow....I would leave the house at 7AM and by noon time would be at 50% with no use other than three email acct's auto-checking every 15 minutes.

Hmmmm...I doubt that MS was doing that. It's not something that is active or running. It's not using any data connection or anything like that.

What else did you have running?

Why does everybody need a screen lock anyways? Just turn off the screen when you put it up and everything is locked but the power button. I had screen lock assigned to a soft key before i released this practically does the same thing. So now I can have the now screen on one soft key and my menu on the other. This seems to work nice for me.

i guess there's not way around it, i use my phone all day so having a lock like the treo wx could be really nice, im just trying to avoid having unnecessary software.

Trying to make mobile shell my today screen

Maybe im overlooking something but i cant get mobile shell to be my main screen.When i turn the screen on the now screen comes on but i want it to be my screen all the time. If that makes n e sense.I want to replace my today screen with my now screen. I went to the today items and checked mobile shell but it just has like a lil plugin at the top.I want the whole now screen.Thanx for any help.
