Because Palringo is new software get on their forums and make a feature request

and Palringo's current features will always be free ( http://forum.palringo.com/showthread.php?t=182 )

palringo all the way, iv been using it for months. its been free for awhile now and it just works with all the major IM providers... only complaint is once u close a message screen you lose the convasation... but its better than paying for something similar. I hope it remains free forever....

as long as i dont exit the program i can always retrieve my conversation history by pressing the ^ bar at the top of the screen.

mundu

Just released a pocket pc version. I used them back in Treo 650 days. One time fee $11. It rocks as an IM program.

Why is there no Pidgin for PPC? Pidgin is lord of the multi-protocol messengers for windows and linux.

I use the messenger that came with my Touch. Since all my friends are on messenger, and it supports voiceclips, it does the job I guess.

He was referring to "Mundu"

I haven't seen it offered to consumers yet, just to businesses wanting to 'brand' their own IM client.

Anyone else have more details regarding Mundu..?

I primarily stick to Windows Live Messenger, because that's what I use at work, and it's what my friends and family are on. I keep AIM 2.0 as a backup for the handful of friends on there.

I use Slick. Works great, is slickly fast (like its title), has typing indication (which is really nice), supports away messages, and is free (at least for now). Get it at http://www.lonelycatgames.com/?app=slick
