Exclamation Annoying Problems with Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta

Okay, so the first thing that I noticed was that the Skunkworks FlashVideoBundle's icon changed to an Opera Logo. I tried it, and of course, it does not work. Now, I can still use IE for the sites listed, but I have to type it all in. I know, it's not the worst thing that could happen, but it's annoying.

Also, I cannot uninstall this program now. I've gone through this entire phone, and I've deleted EVERY Opera file that I could find. Unfortunately, when I re-installed the FlashVideoBundle, it is still (somehow) trying to open Opera 9.5, although it is unsuccessful. It is also STILL represented by the stupid Opera Logo.

Anyone have any ideas?!

EDIT: Before I forget... YES, I did a soft-reset.

Okay, so I found the FINAL Opera 9.5 Beta file and got rid of it. However, my FlashVideoBundle is still not working correctly. As you can see, it is repped as just a file, when it should have the PIE Logo in the corner of the little page icon. You can see in the 2nd picture the message I get when I tap on Video Sites... Any ideas AT ALL?!

You could try re-installing IE. I think there are cabs for IE6.1 floating around, not sure about earlier versions. Or find out how to manually change file associations. Maybe a registry search is in order.

When you removed them from your ppc before you reinstalled them did you make sure all traces and setting where removed from your registry too? Like....
HKEY/L/M---Software,,,,
HKEY/C/U---Software,,,,

You mean when I deleted the Opera files? No, I didn't. I wouldn't have any idea what to look for, or where in the registry to look.

All I know is that the Video Sites icon shouldn't look like that. Plus, it just keeps giving me that error message. Anyone else have any ideas...

p.s. Oh, and about re-installing PIE, there's no need. There's nothing wrong with PIE, just the FlashVideoBundle... (from what I can tell)

This shot was taken while connected via usb right? I only get an error like that (although unrelated to 9.33, etc) when I'm on Activesync.

Re: Annoying Problems with Opera Mobile 9.5 Beta

You need to use a file explorer program such as GSFinder or total commander to set the default program back to IE. There may be another way but I have used GSFinder to do it in the past.

Well, I meant that it might restore PIE's association with html files.

ppc6800lover is right. Most file explorers will let you change the default file association. Navigate to the VideoSites file, select open with, choose IE, and select always open this type of file with the selected program.

Edit: Or for the easier method, Darkness231 was nice enough to help us all out:
