'one line date' on Today screen?

Does anyone know how to make the DATE plugin on the TODAY screen only use one line instead of two? I think there are some custom ROMs that might do it, but I would not like to do it that way.

There's a reg edit to get it on one line.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\TODAY]
"Date"=dword:1
"AutoSingleLineDatePlugin"=dword:1

*Create "AutoSingleLineDatePlugin" if not present*

The problem with my date is that it only shows the date and not the day. When it was on two lines it showed the day. ie:

Monday
April 1, 2222

Now it's just:

April 1, 2222

Anyone know how to get the day back in there? TIA!
