msg 'NOT A VALID WIN32 APPLICATION'?

Should be a simple question. Newbie working with his first Windows Mobile device (ATT 8525)

My first attempt to add a program to my device. I downloaded ICONTACT 0.4 from FREEWAREPOCKETPC.NET. It was a ZIP file that contained one item, ICONTACT.EXE. I was expecting a .CAB file.

When I double click on the EXE file on my PC, I get the following message

(NULL) IS NOT A VALID WIN32 APPLICATION.

I tried to go ahead and copy the EXE file to my phone, and execute it there, but all it did there was give me a 'black' screen.

What is my problem????
Thanks,
Mike

If it gives you the "not a valid win32 app" message, that means it must be executed on a PPC.
The fact that it actually brought up a black screen means that it is working, but something is wrong. I suggest you refer to the developers website. You might have an issue with DirectDraw

Thanks! It was blank because all my contacts were on my SIM card and not on the phone itself. Once I copied them over, it worked fine.
