Also, does the contact selection allow for selecting other fields, like an email address, instead of only the SMS number? there are good questions, i have found that when selecting contacts, first and foremost this has a finger flick interface for EVERYTHING. When scrolling thru contacts it will list them individually...i.e. "Joe Mobile" and then "Joe Home".

I do not know about the email gateway.

Unlike palms threader, once a thread is started you can still open the thread and tap on any message inside the thread and get an options list. So lets say your texting "Susy" and you wanna forward a message from the thread to someone, in the palm app, you have to go to sent items and then go to resend it. In vitos app, you do it from within the thread. I think you should try it out. If you dont like it, just reinstall your palm app. I doubt u will be dissappointed tho.
