What I do is just press the hard mail key and leave that app running too . Everything just sends automatically with it open anyway.
But actually exiting the app and then restarting normally solves that problem for me until I have to soft reset my phone for whatever reason. |

After you go Vito you never go back. |
I ended up removing it. For some reason it stopped catching incoming messages, even while the app was open, and they were arriving to the regular Inbox. I could also swear I started having Touchpal crash on me after I installed it, but it could be a number of things.
Besides that, the lack of copy-paste, HTML links on the threads, the Touch keyboard not working properly, etc., just decided to wait and stick with the stock app for now. |
I've been having some TouchPal issues myself, but this was before I installed this app. Sometimes when I have Touchpal as the default or last keyboard used, it just wouldn't come up when I press the keyboard icon. Also, if I tried switching from Resco Keyboard to Touchpal, the regular keyboard would come up, resulting in a prompt soft reset to temporarily resolve the problem.

Even though I love this app to death, im starting to be very annoyed with the sending issue and lack of features that codyppc's app have spoiled me with. It doesnt look like they give a fat rats azz about further developing the app, judging by what ive seen. Im stuck on the fence, pretty ui and ease of use but with issues? or worry trouble free sms with options, but not as pretty..what to do??? lol |
i removed it also...the keyboard issue was too much. even though the stock is not threaded its so much easier to use the xt9 imput.

I use a Treo so I haven't had any issues with SIP. I did notice that my battery drained a little faster but I was texting like crazy with this. I love the look of it and the usability. I hate that you can't customize it. I have become a tweaking junkie. If it can't be tweaked, I try not to use it. But other than that, pretty cool. I'll keep it for a minute. For those of you who don't like it, use PocketCM. You could use that as your SMS, + it's threaded. If you want it check out this site from the developer (and it can be tweaked and skinned) http://www.pocketcm.com/contact.php. + its freeware and free is always good, ya dig
