Re: New PPC Browser : Skyfire - MERGED
This is turning into another MS Deepfish. That browser looked pretty cool when it first came out, I'm even a beta tester, but they haven't updated that thing in MONTHS and lots of features still don't work. Very disappointing.

Re: New PPC Browser : Skyfire - MERGED
i'm as patient as the next guy, but something tells me that they aren't working as urgently to get the betas out as they let on, refresh my memory on how many people who actually got the beta? i've only seen 2 on this site thus far unless some haven't posted, or i over read their comment; but with all the people i know who registered early- which is in the hundreds maybe thousands, i would think that around 100 or so people would have gotten it by now who are on this site

Re: New PPC Browser : Skyfire - MERGED
Don't give up on Skyfire just yet, remember the company has ambitious plans to support a wide variety of devices in the future not just us Windows Mobile users so I'm sure issues like server capacity were taken into consideration from the very beginning.
The next version of Skyfire should be released in a few weeks according to a news snub from "JK on the Run Blog", where the team hopes to launch support for VGA displays. There's a possibility's that this new release will coincide with additional beta invites being released. |

Re: New PPC Browser : Skyfire - MERGED
my thing is, what was the point in rushing to sign up on the 28? i signed up pretty early an at this rate the invite will surpass a month, an now i here talk about it coming in a few weeks? seriously... did we all sign up for a beta only to receive it over a month later? i'm not saying i've giving up, it just "feels" like they aren't in as big a rush to get this thing out there like they claimed that they would
