It seems that the browser doesn’t really allow heading to bandwidth checking sites. All the biggies are blocked, and dslreports as a whole, I cannot get to load. So, the sneaky text.dslreports.com is also blocked. This MAY not be blocked, but I cannot get any of them to load.

But, I DID find one obscure site that let me load the BW test, I won’t list it here, but the BW seems to be between 2.6-2.9MBs, probably high end DSL or Cable.

It would seem likely at this point as none have gone out since last friday. That should be ample time to test the current servers and get a few more online. I only hope i'm close enough to the front for whenever the next round is. Users with it are only an hour before me.

My BW tests are showing 3MB+ now, so maybe some people are not using as much.

Just curious, what time did you get your confirmation? Has anyone who actually has Skyfire posted the time they recieved their confirmation?

I have a 7:45 AM EST confirmation email. I have not text (obviously) and I'd like to know how close I might be.

You guys do know that the WILL have to start adding ads or start charging people in the future b/c somehow they will have to pay their server costs...

And I really doubt that they will be nice enough to just let everyone take advantage of them using their server time and not somehow try to make some profit.

Hmmm maybe they will sell our personal info like those of us that will use it to login to our online banking... j/k
