Software to image a PPC???

Hope somebody can help. I finally have my Helmi WM6 Apache 6700 personalized with all of my software, registration keys, reg edits, preferences, sounds/ringtones/wallpapers/today theme, etc. To flash the rom and repeat this process, it will take hours.

Using Acronis to image my home computer has been an absolute lifesaver to combat the infrequent malware that gets through my defenses. Now that I have my PPC just the way I love it, is there a way to image the entire thing as a backup/restore just in case I install that random effed up .cab that locks up the phone and responds only to a complete hard reset and re-installation of EVERYTHING (it's happened more than once already)? In other words, is there something similar to Acronis True Image, but for PPC's?

Thanks in advance for your guidance fellow geeks!

I not sure what acrionis is but i was surfing n found a program called PPCPimBackup. It is pretty good. it backups your contacts, appointment, text message and even your call logs. It also includes backup of custom files n folder. So im guess (even though i havent tried it) that if you copy the entire phone as a custom folder, u should b able to create a image. If you are interested in the program pm me and i'll send you a link or email it to you

Sprite Backup 6.1

Me personaly don't like the spb apps very much,

I use Sprite Backup from http://www.spritesoftware.com/sprite-backup/ on
my TyTN (WM6) and it can make full backups to PC or microSD
(Option of *.exe file so you don't even have to install Sprite Backup to restore your data again after a Hard Reset on the road...)

Anyway, thats my 10sents...

There isn't a commercial app that does the same thing Acronis does. The closest you will get is Sprite or SPB. Acronis restores an image sector by sector where Sprite and SPB restore files, registry etc. When you restore, I suggest you use the same ROM you used to make the backup from. Newer Sprite versions are supposed to work with different ROM versions, but I wouldn't suggest it.
