getting rid of the lines across my screen

so i have a sprint ppc 6700..my boss just gave us all the htc touch for xmas and delivery will be here in 10 business days..so i thought i would take this opportunity to try out some apps on my ppc6700 so I'll know how to install them on my new touch..i currently have installed
vtap
foxit pdf reader
sktools
the youtube bundle which is working perfectly
live search
s2u2

what i want to know is..HOW do i make the lines that appear going across my todays screen dissapear i think it ruins my wallpaper and i hate them i don't know the app used otherwise i would search for it myself so if anyone knows please let me know if there's a link on here..which app it is and if it has install instructions thanx

Use UI Tweaker to get rid of the horizontal lines. This change can be made by opening UI Tweaker and going to TdyScheme Changer. From there go to Standard Colors/Today Screen Horizontal Bar.

Dam is your boss hiring .. Thats Sweet ure boss gave you all a HTC Touch....thats Craszie... Some people are lucki if they get mints..lol..

edit..ok i tried it and all i can do is change the horizontal color scheme to black..i don't see a way of removing it completely unless i have an all black background for my wallpaper on the today screen?

THANK YOU COZBOOGIE..will give it a go lol and no he isn't hiring lol he utilizes a technique used by many bosses in japan where he's from..happy employees = better productivity = better bottom line for company..he keeps ups happy we work hard..pretty simple if you ask me lol we would have gotten iphones cept the company would have had to switch to at&t no wanted to so? ya know

does your boss also subcsribe to the japanese work standard of every eighth week off? and are all his employees as hot as you? ... thats not a line ... just a complement ... sorry i cant help, hope you get it figured out soon though.-choir
