This new version is working great for me now. It even working good for my friend on his unlocked Tilt on T Mobile. Great work... Mine now says... "Dylan was here!" haha

I was looking for a way to do this and ran into this post about this nice program. But totally by mistake while reading some information from one phone to set up another with QPST, I realized you can use it to permanently edit the banner.

To any interested in knowing, I've installed version 2.0 and it works unfailingly now. Before my personalized text come and go, but copyppc got it working great now. Thanks again codyppc.

what happened with the first one was the notification que was not being removed when you went to uninstall it. i fixed that in this newer version.

I tried that but it wouldn't even let me install the 1.1 version. I had to do a hard reset and restore my phone. Thankfully I did a system backup before I installed your program the first time.

it also helps if you clear your caches using sktools or memaid before and after you install 2.0...

after i uninstalled 1.1 and installed 2.0, it still behaved irradically... but i cleaned everything and did a soft reset and it's perfect!

yes cody. it works. it is slow to install and uninstall but that may be just me. i am using this on my stock sprint mogul, and it works. i occassionally get an error saying failed writing to registry and it lists a registry path where i'm guessing this carrier info is stored.
